
Dr. Michael Rykse had made the decision to separate his chiropractic practice from a franchise organization and wanted assistance developing a new name and brand identity that would stand out against other health and wellness practitioners in his local area.




The Acorn Marketing Team first dug in by conducting one-on-one interviews with internal and external stakeholders including key team members as well as current patients. This proprietary research process, called Flight Plan, allowed us to guage alignment in the organizations desire to stand apart from the competition, and gather unbiased information to determine Dr. Rykse’s true points of difference.
The research findings allowed for a strategic approach to the naming process. Acorn and Dr. Rykse reviewed name recommendations landing on Alive Health Family Chiropractic + Wellness. Our logo design includes elements and colors that communicate health and wellness while conveying trust and focus on client wellbeing. The branding work extended to the creation of iconography to represent Alive Health’s broad range of services and led to the development of a a complete brand guide and all of his marketing materials.
