Primary Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of client campaigns and projects including marketing strategy, media planning, design and content development direction, digital and traditional advertising campaigns, website development, photography, video production and more.
- Participate in content development as needed for client or agency digital media channels, digital or printed materials and websites.
- Represent the company in the community and key industry verticals through business associations/organizations.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of and be able to effectively present all capabilities of the agency.

Experienced Web Developer
Experienced Web Developer
We are looking for a Web Developer with strong WordPress experience to join our growing team. This opportunity is well suited for an experienced professional with a strong foundation in web development who is looking to build their experience in a collaborative agency environment.
You’ll work alongside seasoned team members to create reliable, effective, user-friendly websites while continuing to develop your technical skills and knowledge. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys solving problems, writing clean code, learning new technologies, and working on a variety of client projects.
Full time position with at least 3 days in-office in Grand Haven, Michigan per week. Up to 2-days per week may be worked from a home office or professionally appropriate remote location. Benefits package includes health, dental, life, 401k, FSA, paid holidays and vacation time.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on WordPress development, preferably in an agency environment.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with PHP and the ability to write basic WordPress functions.
- Familiarity with responsive web design and cross-browser development.
- Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Familiarity with basic version control and software development practices.
- Experience managing web hosting platforms, including cPanel and WHM.
- Familiarity with VisualBakery and Elementor page builders.
- Understanding of website accessibility, performance optimization, and regulatory requirements including WCAG and HIPAA.
- Understanding of SEO and AEO principles, including schema markup and emerging LLM/AI search technologies.
- Ability to navigate and report data from Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Familiarity with MailChimp, Constant Contact, or similar marketing platforms.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and development practices.
Experience Preferred:
- Advertising or marketing agency experience.
- Experience building custom WordPress dashboards or administrative interfaces.
- Experience developing custom WordPress themes or plugins.
- Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with React and Node.js.
- Experience with technical SEO, structured data, and AI/LLM optimization.
Education Preferred:
A degree or substantial coursework in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is helpful, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
