
Formerly known as AIRS, InformUSA is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening and supporting the delivery of 211 and other information and referral (I&R) services that connect individuals and families to essential health and human services across the United States. As a unifying force for professionals in the I&R field, InformUSA provides national leadership through standards development, accreditation, professional certification, education, and advocacy. Their members include 211 providers, nonprofit agencies, government organizations, and other community-based partners committed to ensuring people can quickly and easily find help when they need it most. When the decision was made to rename the organization to InformUSA in 2023, their Executive Director leaned on Acorn Marketing to lead the branding strategy and design.


Acorn Marketing partnered with InformUSA to develop a fresh brand identity that reflects their leadership and mission. This work included the organization’s new brand assets including the organization’s primary logo, certification badges, stationery design, a new website, trade show displays, and marketing materials. Additionally, a brand guide and logo format was established for updating the logo and marketing assets for each of the organization’s state and regional affiliates.

Since the launch of the new branding, Acorn has also supported numerous state and regional affiliates—ensuring clarity, unity, and consistency across every touchpoint in the InformUSA network.
