The Challenge

Otis McAllister is an importer of rice and grains who sells bulk product to foodservice operators and consumer packaged goods to grocery retail stores. In addition to package design, the Acorn team provides comprehensive marketing support their foodservice sales team who regularly present product information and trend data to brokers, distributors and foodservice chains. In addition to a comprehensive Powerpoint deck, Otis McAllister needed a concise and visually appealing leave-behind that captured key trends and valuable insights.

Our Approach

The Acorn Marketing team created the content and graphics for a one-page handout designed to leave a lasting impression on their high value prospects. The sales tool included visually appealing trend data, menu insights and reflected on why rice is important for each segment of the foodservice industry. Featuring intentionally selected colors, fonts, and custom illustrations, the final deliverable is simple, engaging and informational. 

Each data point and corresponding illustration was also designed to be used as standalone social media graphic, giving Otis McAllister post content for weeks.
