Smile Dental Partners (Smile) is a privately-owned group of multi-specialty dental practices in Michigan. Inside each Smile practice is a team of doctors, hygienists, and specialists in adult and teen dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontics, dedicated to providing patient-centered, preventative oral care.

Campaign Goals

  • Establish a professional and inviting brand image
  • Raise awareness of Smile’s four multi-specialty dental practices
  • Communicate the advantages of receiving multi-specialty dental care at one location
  • Encourage patients to explore Smile’s services
  • Generate new patient appointments.

The Challenge

With new locations opening and expansions in existing locations creating additional capacity for growth, awareness of their multi-specialty point of difference and new patient acquisition topped the challenges we aimed to solve. Smile also needed to make an emotional connection and show a very different patient experience, one every patient deserves.  Mothers needed to know their children were safe and it was clear from research we needed to make an emotional connection and show a very different patient experience. We crafted a message and strategy that’s not about ‘what they do’ but about ‘how it makes you feel’ to be a patient there.
